Our debut Burnin' Up EP released this week!

Hi everyone!

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that our debut Burnin Up EP was released on Monday! YAY! We’re totally thrilled that we can now say we have an official EP release and we are super happy with how the tracks have turned out.
The 4 tracks were recorded live last November with Dominic Hardy at Gracenote Studios in Dunfermline. Once Covid hit, we managed to do a lot of work in isolation - working on the arrangements and adding in a load of new embellishments - backing vocals, synths, percussion, strings… Nic even learned some real clarinet and sax parts (that’s dedication!).

We had an absolutely amazing time filming our music video for our title track ‘Burnin’ Up’ which we filmed at EH2 studios with Cal at Lucid Shade, with support from Lewis Milne (photography and lighting), Chrissie Ardill (roller skater come dancer extraordinaire) and Gemma Wickham who helped with styling.

With the exception of ‘Kindest Boy’, one of our dreamy ballads, all the tracks on the EP are totally funky, upbeat, feel-good tunes, so make sure you get them fired on your party playlists! Deal?!

We’re delighted that the EP has already had some fantastic features and coverage and has been really well received by everyone we’ve reached out to.

It’s been strange times indeed this year and we’re disappointed that we can’t get out there physically to promote the release, however, we’ll be ready to get back out gigging again as soon as we’re able to and we really hope you enjoy our tracks in the meantime.

As far as we’re concerned, it’s back to the drawing board for us - we have 30+ unreleased songs sitting in the pipeline so it’s safe to say we have our work cut out for us. No rest for the wicked, as they say! We very much enjoyed working on this EP this year and we really hope you enjoy listening to the tracks. as much as we enjoyed recording them!

We’ve included some links below where you can check out our music and read some of the interviews and features which have been published so far!
